FAQs
Program & Coaching?
1
What are the coaches' qualifications and experience levels?
Our coaching staff holds US Soccer Class C licenses, ensuring every coach meets a nationally recognized standard for player development. We also bring in current college or professional players, giving campers the rare opportunity to learn from athletes actively competing at the highest levels. This combination of certified education and real playing experience creates a truly unique learning environment for every player who walks through our gates.
What is the player-to-coach ratio?
We maintain a ratio of 8 players to every 1 coach — and that's very intentional. Small groups mean every player receives consistent, personalized feedback rather than getting lost in the crowd.
What is your coaching philosophy?
We are a development-first camp that focuses on the small details that create big improvements over time. Our coaches break the game down to its fundamentals — touch, movement, decision-making — and build players up from there. Most importantly, we never lose sight of the reason kids play: because it's fun. We create an environment that challenges players while keeping the love of the game alive.
Are coaches background-checked?
Yes — every coach is required to pass a background check through the US Soccer government database before working with any of our campers. This is a non-negotiable standard we hold for every staff member, no exceptions. Your child's safety is our highest priority, and we want every parent to drop their child off with complete confidence and peace of mind.
How do I get started?

What does a typical day look like?
Each morning begins with check-in, where players are grouped by age and get settled in for the day. From there, we follow a structured daily curriculum built around the development of core soccer skills. Every session is purposeful and progressive, ensuring players are consistently learning, improving, and being challenged in a fun and supportive environment.
What age groups and skill levels do you accommodate?
We welcome players born between 2011 and 2023, making our camp a great fit for a wide range of young athletes. All skill levels are welcome — from first-time players to those with competitive experience.
Is the camp tiered by ability, or are all levels mixed?
We start the first day with mixed groups so players can get comfortable, build friendships, and find their footing. As the week progresses, groups are reorganized based on ability, ensuring every player is being appropriately challenged and developing alongside peers at a similar level.
What makes you different?
3
What is your emergency/injury protocol?
We have a licensed nurse on staff at all times. In the event of an injury or emergency, we follow the same protocols used by Connecticut schools — including contacting a parent or guardian when necessary and maintaining detailed incident reports in accordance with CT state law.
Is a medical professional on-site?
Yes — a licensed nurse is present on-site throughout the camp day, every day.
How do you handle extreme heat or bad weather?
Player safety always comes first. We follow Connecticut state protocols for weather-related decisions and will reschedule days if conditions are unsafe. On hot days, water is readily accessible at all times and scheduled water breaks are built into the daily program.
What is your concussion policy?
We follow the US Soccer concussion guidelines in full. Any player showing signs of a concussion will be removed from activity immediately and proper steps will be taken before they are cleared to return to play.
